Who is your mediator?
All persons that believe in the Bible or once believed in the Bible, can answer that question.
And there is no prize for the correct answer, sorry.
"There is one God and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all."
1 Timothy 2:5,6
The Bible is clear, however, Jehovah's Witnesses are taught the following.
"Likewise, the Greater Moses, Jesus Christ, is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind.
He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual Israel, which is limited to only 144,000 members."
Worldwide Security Under the "Prince of Peace"
1986 pp.10-11.
That was written in 1986 - has that doctrine changed?
In 2010 the book 'God's Word For Us Through Jeremiah'
States that Jesus is not mankinds mediator.
Jesus is the mediator in the new covenant of spiritual Israel, whom Jehovah's witnesses believe to be numbered 144,000.
"... the new covenant is between Jehovah God and spiritual Israel, with Jesus as its Mediator."
God's Word For Us Through Jeremiah - p.173.
So there are a few questions that need an answer.
Who is your mediator?
Who do you pray to?
Do you pray directly to God?
Did Jesus die only for those in the new covenant or for all mankind?
And who is telling the truth, the Bible or men?
"There is one God and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all."
1 Timothy 2:5,6
