Overlapping Generation

This generation Image.jpg2_zpsn8wq2nu4

Quote :

"He evidently meant that the lives of the anointed who were on hand when the sign began to become evident in 1914 would overlap with the lives of other anointed ones who would see the start of the great tribulation." Watchtower 2010 April 15 p.10

The 1914 generation has gone, passed away and are no more.
The idea that Jesus 'evidently' meant an 'Overlapping Generation' when talking to the apostles over 2000 years ago, is not just an insult to him and to all that listen to the 'New Light' from the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

Jehovah's Witnesses are taught that Jesus started his heavenly kingdom in 1914 and from then on, revealed the truth of that kingdom to his 'anointed' ones here on earth.
To believe that the explanation given by David Splane makes any sense and was handed down by Jesus himself as 'food at the proper time' would be funny, if it was not so sad.

Governing Body Explains This generation

By Robert King

What he is saying here is his personal view of 'This Generation'
It is not my personal view, however, many of the points made related to the Watchtower's inability to understand the words of Jesus, I can agree with.

It is often said that when you are in a hole - stop digging.
The truth of the matter is this. The prophesy given by Jesus about the coming tribulation on Israel and to be witnessed by his Apostles, applied to their day.
The days of Israel - the days [generation] of the Apostles.

Any attempt to link it to the false date of 1914, is unscriptural, 'going beyond what is written' and to any clear thinking person, laughable.
Questions again were asked by the faithful Jehovah's Witnesses, as the explanation given in the Watchtower of 2010 and the recent JW Broadcasting were unclear, hard to follow, etc.

And yet again they feel the need for more explanation as what has gone before, makes no sense at all.
Stop digging a hole for yourselves Governing Body, the more you say, the more confused you sound.
