The year 1874 and Charles Taze Russell

Why is the year 1874 important in WT history? What happened?

I think all that idea of Charles T.Rusell is based on lies and occult practices and false predictions.Who will stick with men made doctrines will fall and history is fact.

Evidently(lol! WT saying!), Russell believed Christ had already returned invisibly, so 1874 marked, according to his pyramid calculations, the "beginning of the period of trouble."
